Veraz kuuluu arabihevosten espanjalaiseen veriryhmään harvinaisen puhtaalla suvulla, ja omaakin tunnusomaisen rakenteen; andalusialaisen muhkea kaula, tummat kauniit silmät, se on ryhdikäs ja elegantti, sekä sillä on vankka luusto ja vahvat nivelet.
Oriille on suoritettu vapauttavat 22 kuvan rtg-lausunto, ortopedinen eläinlääkäritarkastus sekä hampaiden ja purennan tarkistus.

Verazin isä Mel Nebli on erittäin arvostettu euroopassa periyttäjänä etenkin upeiden liikkeidensä ansiosta. Näyttö onkin vakuuttavaa, mm Basara Salyana M:n (x Mel Quelinka) jälkeläisen BS Specificin (x Sandstorm JC) näyttelytulosluettelo on huimaava! Hyvää vauhtia perässä tulevat myöskin täysveli PF Specific ja täyssisko BS Evita. Verazin ii. Pintor on täysveli Rastanolle, joka taas on kuuluisan USA:ssa olevan jalostusoriin Estopasan (x Estopa) isä. Estopasanilla on suomessakin jälkeläisiä.

Myöskin espanjassa vaikuttava, Verazin emän täysveli Mel Nacar periyttää suvulle ominaisia piirteitä. Kuuluisin on ori Arabian Beauty (Mel Nacar x Ceramica) ja tässä muutama kommentti jälkeläisistä:

"BS Specific is a wonderful stallion , he is very spanish looking and I can really say he is a carbon copy of his sire ( without the flee bitten ) Specific's dam has been a world champion filly in 1996 I think. She's a very beautiful mare with big movement as all the MEL bred horses. Her sire Mel Nebli is a wonderful spanish stallion ,last time I saw him he was already more than 20 years old but so spirited and big moving stallion.""Well, I have further been amazed by the MEL bred spanish bred horses. I saw on a website, BS Specific standing at the Specifically Equine center in Europe. Wow, Amazing horse. He's by Sandstorm JC (Fame VF son and Sidi Brahim grand son) and out of Basara Salyana a gorgeous Mel Nebli x Mel Quelinka daughter. Wow.. definetely got the spanish eyes. He's quite the hottie He looks good under saddle too.. always a plus ofcourse Anyway, I thought he was a very nice representative of the Spanish lines.""The Mel horses are hard to find on the google search engine as little has been written about them online. I am in the process of writing a book/CD on the Spanish Arabian and have recently covered them in the chapter on the Spread of the Spanish bloodlines. The following is just an excerpt on the section on the Melissa Stud: "The Melissa Stud arabians have left a lasting impression on european and american breeders alike. The stud as it was no longer exists. Peter passed away in 1999 after having gone their separate ways for some years and Leese had her last foal crop for the Melissa Stud in the spring of 1995.Their arabians were winning all through the 80s and into the 90s. Many of their 144 horses bred found their way to form the foundation stock of newer breeders. Some even made their way back to Spain.
